Award ceremony 2019 of the University of Lübeck
The University of Lübeck houses a broad spectrum of excellent research on a national and international level. This is confirmed by the university's science prizes and teaching prize, which were awarded in a ceremony on 7th of November 2019 in the Hanseatic City Hall.
David Witte was awarded the Otto Roth Prize for his work "Regulation of TGF-ß 1 signal transduction in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma cells by Rac 1b and PAR2" (AG Hematology/Oncology by Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Hendrik Ungefroren).
Dr. rer. nat. Lisbeth Harder was awarded the Bernd Fischer Prize for her dissertation "Layered Interactions of Systemic and Brain Effects by Thyroid Hormones" (AG Molekulare Endokrinologie von Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Jens Mittag).
Dr. rer. nat Mohsen Alavash and Dr. phil. Sarah Tune were awarded the University Science Prize for their joint research work "Modular reconfiguration of an auditory-control network support adaptive listening behavior" (AG Auditive Cognition by Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Jonas Obleser).
Dr. Anne Weißbach was awarded the Renate Maaß Research Prize for her work "Genetic changes and their consequences for motor networks of the brain" (AG Systems Neuroscience by Prof. Dr. med. Alexander Münchau).
